ORIGEN Materials
Every colorway below is a material before it is a product. We collect post-consumer plastic in Hudson County, sort it, shred it, and process it into printable stock in our own studio — then print, finish, and label each piece with what went into it. Order a sample and you get the material in the hand, not a swatch on a screen.
A deep, saturated green that holds its density under direct light. The most forgiving of the colorways across a large wall.
The darkest blue we run. Reads almost black in shadow and opens up wherever light rakes across the relief.
Pale and cool. The relief does most of the work here — shadow supplies the contrast the colour deliberately withholds.
Warm and earthen, the closest thing here to a fired clay. Sits comfortably against wood and unfinished plaster.
Not a flat black — a warm dark grey that keeps the print lines readable instead of swallowing them.
Warm off-white. The quietest option, and the one that disappears into a gallery wall until the light moves.
Made entirely from single-use PET water bottles and left untinted, so the material still reads as the bottles it came from. Shown at Jersey City Arthouse Gallery for Creation from Destruction, the gallery’s 25th anniversary show.
